Según nos han informado las dos promotoras que traerán este año a Pearl Jam por nuestro país, podemos confirmar que acturán en 3 ocasiones.
Así pues, la gira española quedará de la siguiente manera:

1 septiembre 2006 - Barcelona (lugar por confirmar)
2 septiembre 2006 - Vitoria (Azkena Rock Festival)
7 septiembre 2006 - Madrid (lugar por confirmar)

En cuanto tengamos más información acerca de la venta de las entradas y cualquier otra que os pueda interesar os lo haremos llegar.

Lo de siempre, pero qué bueno

Pues resulta que el último de "Pearl Jam", título homónimo, está chulo. Por fin lo he podido conseguir y entra a la primera. El single ya lleva rulando una temporadilla (en su página oficial lo pusieron para descargarlo) y conserva el estilo típico de esta gente. Al principio tenía mis dudas, pero cada vez que les escucho me doy cuenta de que los grandes del grunge fueron estos y no Nirvana, aun teniendo éstos canciones increíbles.

Bueno, en realidad el jueves que viene tocan en Londres, si alguien se viene que hable. También se supone que van a estar en más de un festival este verano, pero por el estilo no creo que caigan en ninguno de España. Ojalá que sí.

Lo interesante aquí es el tema de derechos de autor (copyright en inglés). Por si alguno lo dudaba, los autores de arriba son los malos. En el otro bando, los invencibles miembros de la SGAE, entre otros. Sí, los mismos que acabarán cobrándonos cuando silbemos canciones en el coche.

Esto me ha recordado a un comentario que alguien puso en este blog hace poco y que hacía referencia al copyleft. Esto se trata de que, si el copyright intenta limitar el uso del material por parte de cada persona, copyleft hace lo contrario (de ahí el juego de palabras copy-right, copy-left). Por tanto, si uno recibe un trabajo creado bajo copyleft, no sólo puede usarlo y pasarlo a quien quiera, sino también modificarlo cuántas veces quiera. Como supondréis, esto es muy interesante, y no significa necesariamente ser un gorrón y aprovecharse del trabajo de otros, aunque de todo hay. En fin, si tenéis opinión al respecto, hablad.
